Top Ten Recruits in the class of 2023 by Upper Decky lax

Updated: Feb 16, 2023

10. Nate Kabiri (Georgetown Prep, Princeton) Attack

Kabiri, known to some as "The Human Highlight Reel", is one of the best X attack men in the country on and off the field. He initially made his commitment to Georgetown then flipped to Princeton in June.

9. Ty Banks (WRA, Georgetown) Defense

A mean motherfucker who will eat any attack man thrown at him. Although only being 5'11 180lbs and looking like a sucker white boy Banks is definitely the one of the best poles in this class.

8. Caleb Fyock (St. Johns, Ohio State) Goalie

Easily the best goalie in this class and one of the best Goalie recruits I've seen. Kid has a big frame and is able to steal games. He anchored the Cadets defense to an undefeated season in 2022.

7. Tomas Delgado (Brunswick, Duke) Midfield

Little Brother of current Duke midfielder Lucas Delgado, Tomas is the upgrade. Strong hard dodger from midfield with a cannon of a shot. Led Brunswick's midfield in points in the 2021 season.

6. Mac Christmas (Mcdonough/Georgetown Prep, Duke) Lsm

Best lsm in this class by far. Big frame, tough defender, and a massive threat in transition. Should make an impact right away at the college level.

5. Brock Behrman (Salisbury School, Notre Dame) Attack

One of the best shooters in this class, can nip corners from distance with his underhand ripper. Has no limits on and off the field. Pounds Natty light. Was a 2022 at Niskayuna but went to Salisbury School and reclassed. Should fit in well at Notre Dame as he has a very similar style of play as Notre Dame sophomore Jeffrey Riccia

rdeli.

4. Owen Duffy (St. Anthonys, Unc) Attack

One word to describe Duffy, Stud. Kid will drop 7 goals on Chaminade and take some Smokeshow blonde to homecoming. Kids IQ and feet are second to none. Shiftiest attack man in this class easily. I draw a lot of comparisons from his game to Chris Grays. Duffy should fit in well at North Carolina.

3. Benn Johnston (Avon Old Farms, Duke) Midfield

Big strong midfielder who can rip it down the alley. Shoots 100 with both hands. Crafty with his stick. Can play both ways and play great defense. The most College ready kid in this class with his size and partying ability. Expect to hear Paul Carcaterra saying this kids name a lot on ESPN.

2. Mccabe Millon (Mcdonough, Virginia) Attack

A lot of people say this kid is number one but I am not sold on him. Great dodger and shooter. Has a lot of similarities to Connor Shellenberger. Flipped to Uva this fall. On the older side of 2023 recruits which could be an issue with his ceiling.

1. Leo Hoffman (Brunswick, Upenn) Midfield

I mean If you've ever seen this kid play it should speak for itself. Electric player to watch, Electric off the field, gets nasty with blondes and brunettes. His unnatural speed makes him a threat from anywhere on the field. I am a big fan of this kids game and am excited to see him make noise in the Ivy League.
